Woolwich Town Centre
Ardent is appointed by Dockland Light Railway Limited (DLRL) to provide land assembly, negotiation of Compulsory Purchase Order claims, Lands Tribunal referrals and developer selection advice for its £100 million regeneration scheme in Woolwich, a key strategic location in the Thames Gateway.
DLRL is constructing the new link to Woolwich Town Centre that will connect to existing DLR services and provide transport links to the City and Canary Wharf. The assembly of land for this regeneration and infrastructure project and the station design have provided the opportunity for the mixed-use development, which will sit above the station and provide 350 new homes and new retail. The link is now open and the development will complete before 2012.
