Cycle to Cannes

Ardent director, John Yexley, has yet again completed the Cycle to Cannes charity challenge, which is an annual 6-day 1500km cycling endurance event, starting in Greenwich Park, London and finishing in Cannes to mark the start of the well known MIPIM Property Fair.

140 cyclists participated from London this year and took only 5 days to complete the challenge. The group rode along the Croisette before turning into the forecourt of the Palais de Festival where Peter Rhodes of MIPIM presented all the riders with medals.

The cyclists aimed to raise a total of £500,000 (nearly doubling last years target) in support of Land Aid, which funds several organisations helping the homeless; Architects for Aid, which trains architects to assist in disaster relief; Sarah Matheson Trust, which supports those suffering from multiple system atrophy; and The Tom ap Rhys Pryce Memorial Trust, which helps disadvantaged young people.

John´s efforts, collectively with those of the other cyclists, have helped to raise a huge amount of money for some very worthwhile causes. We applaud his commitment!
