“I joined Ardent in 1999 as an Assistant Surveyor and Land Referencing Manager, having worked for London Regional Transport and Thameslink previously. After 7 years I was promoted to the position of Director, and then to the position of Managing Director in 2012. In 2019 my positioned changed to CEO, in alignment with Ardent’s new management system. With the team now approaching 100 people, Ardent has cemented its place as the market leader in land assembly for major projects. Ardent is a very rewarding place to work and an organisation that recognises and supports talent. I’d encourage anyone to consider Ardent as an employer.”

“I started at Ardent as a Land Referencer in 2007. Four years later I had completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Surveying supported by Ardent and passed my APC to become a Chartered Surveyor, I have since progressed to the position of Director. Since I have been with Ardent, the business has seen significant growth, in terms of regional offices, staff numbers and an expanding client base. The variety of projects along with the great working atmosphere, makes Ardent a very enjoyable place to work.”

“I joined Ardent in 2014 from a regeneration, development and restructuring background and have been well supported in this lateral career move. The company’s flexible working structure has allowed me to continue my career part time whilst juggling my three young children, where the majority of my contemporaries have had to leave the profession.”

George Williams

“I joined Ardent in December 2018 as a Senior Surveyor based in the lively London office.  I am a qualified MRICS chartered surveyor with more than 8 years in the property industry.  During this time I have been involved with the acquisition and disposal of land and property, development appraisals and valuation.  Working at Ardent allows me to work in a wide variety of sectors, ranging across commercial, development, residential and rural properties. I enjoy marketing and brand promotion and was fortunate enough to be invited to join the company’s communications team shortly after joining, allowing me to support the team in growing Ardent’s market presence.”

Luke Dinsdale

“I began my career at Ardent in the spring of 2017 as an Apprentice Land Referencer, on the Degree Apprenticeship Program run in conjunction with the Centre for Work Related Studies (CWRS), at the University of Chester, studying Business Management & Leadership. Since starting at Ardent and beginning my degree, I have been promoted to the corporate Marketing department, an achievement of which I am very proud. This has enabled me to apply my skills in advertising and branding, which I have learned through my studies, and help contribute to the growth of the company. Ardent are a company that invests in its employees, and endeavours to fit the individual to a role in which they will be happy to build a career from, and succeed in.”

I have enjoyed being a part of the end-to-end land assembly process, developing my experience and skills through multiple projects across the country. As well as managing a team of Land Referencers in our Warrington office, I am currently training to become a Chartered Surveyor. Diverse working environments, variety of projects and opportunities for career progression make Ardent a great place to work.”
