Simon Morris appointed as member of the East of England Council for the Institution of Civil Engineers

We are delighted to announce that Associate Director, Simon Morris has been confirmed as Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Council representing the East of England.
Simon is currently working on Sizewell C, one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects. With the East of England home to many of the country’s nationally significant infrastructure projects, his appointment creates a strong link between his experience of major infrastructure delivery and his new role representing and supporting the profession across the region.
Through the role, Simon will be able to bring practical insight into the opportunities and challenges facing the sector, while championing collaboration, professional development and the vital contribution civil engineers make to the region’s communities and economy.
On his appointment, Simon said:
“I am honoured to take on this role and look forward to working with ICE members, industry partners and the wider engineering community. The East of England has a wealth of talent and expertise, and I am excited to help champion the profession and support its future development.
“I see first-hand the opportunities and challenges involved in delivering major projects in the region. I am excited to bring that experience to the role”
