Craig Young is a senior growth and business development leader with over 20 years’ experience across the rail, infrastructure and engineering sectors, operating in complex, safety‑critical environments in the UK, Middle East and North America.
Craig was previously a Growth Lead – Rail at WSP where he is a member of the senior leadership team, responsible for driving portfolio growth, leading bid delivery and managing commercial performance and played a key role in shaping strategy, client relationships and capability development.
Previously, Craig held leadership roles at Ricardo Rail, including being the Middle East Operations Director, and Canada Business Manager (2021–2023), where he established strategies and scaled regional businesses, delivered multimillion‑pound growth and built high‑performing international teams.
He also worked for Network Certification Body (2013–2021) in numerous roles and ended up on the executive team being accountable for Business Development (inc. comms and marketing) and administration for the business, exceeding sales targets, delivering best in class account management, provided business support and improving customer satisfaction.
An Incorporated Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Craig combines strong technical expertise with commercial leadership, bringing a strategic, results‑driven approach to sustainable growth.
