Four members of the Ardent Leeds team have braved the elements as they took part in the national LandAid Charity SleepOut.

Ardent’s Lee Hartigan, James Magson, Oscar Barton & Callum Williamson joined over 800 property professionals, across 6 UK locations to raise awareness of youth homelessness.

The Ardent team, along with a number of organisations from across the Leeds region, gathered at Leeds Victoria Gate Carpark to re-create the conditions experienced by thousands of young people across the UK every night.

Challenged with creating their own unique sleeping areas, attendees also heard from sponsors and charity partners as well as receiving prizes for top SleepOut fundraising.

Bringing people together from across the property industry, LandAid supports charities delivering life-changing services for young people dealing with or facing the risk of homelessness.

Lee Hartigan, Associate Director and Land Referencing regional lead at Ardent comments:

‘We understand that this is just a glimpse of the experiences people continue to face across the UK. Taking part in the LandAid SleepOut is a great way for us to give back and support our local community, whilst raising awareness for the thousands of people who face homelessness each year.’

All funds raised at the Leeds SleepOut will support the WomanCentre in Calderdale which provides a wide range of services including emotional and practical support on issues such as domestic violence, counselling, training, and development.
