London Borough of Havering is promoting the re-development of the Bridge Close industrial area and surrounding low density housing to provide up to 1,000 new homes, a primary school, a health centre, employment space, community facilities and public realm improvements.  Bridge Close is situated within the Romford Housing Zone, on the edge of Romford town centre and close to Romford railway station which is on the Elizabeth Line (Crossrail).

Ardent has been instructed to provide advice to the development partners and undertake a range of tasks necessary to support delivery of a CPO. This includes land referencing, the formulation of land acquisition and relocation strategies, the preparation of compensation estimates and the negotiation of property acquisitions in advance of the CPO.

Moving forward we will also be assisting with delivery of the CPO, serving notices, providing input to the statement of reasons, dealing with any objections to the CPO and providing expert witness evidence at Public Inquiry.
