Katy is a Chartered Surveyor in the Land Assembly Directorate at Ardent and has six years experience, primarily in the Rural Sector. Prior to joining Ardent in 2024, Katy acted on behalf of a large, diverse rural estate in Cheshire. This included residential, agricultural and commercial property management as well as undertaking Landlord and Tenant matters and providing strategic advice to management clients.
While at Ardent, Katy has acted on behalf of renewable developers, specifically advising on heads of terms and landowner engagement. Katy is also involved with the provision of compensation advice and negotiation with third parties for the onshore cable of several offshore windfarm schemes. Katy has a strong understanding of the agricultural sector and is a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, meaning she is well placed to advise clients particularly on matters relating to agriculture.
